Hey, my name is David Monroe

I’m David, a portrait and brand photographer based in Savannah, Georgia. My work is rooted in my life-long fascination: PEOPLE.


I care a lot about how people are seen and understood. When you work with me, you are not a project or a content piece. You are trusting me with how you will show up in front of other people, and I take that seriously.


My job is not to turn you into someone else. My job is to get you right so you can look at the work later and still recognize yourself.


I lean on judgment more than tricks. I pay attention to how you carry yourself, how you speak, what you care about, and I use that to decide what will and will not work on camera.
